Following on from his Orange Circles EP on LT imprint SITU Records last year, Memphis Glass makes his Distant Horizons debut, expanding our sense perceptions with four vibrant and explorative tracks.

‘Mechanics’ moves softly between reverberated chords and twinking patterns, glued together beautifully by subtle low end harmonics, before ‘Unpacked’ enters the fray with it’s easy going personality swaying freely amongst the hustle of nine to five; A six minute retreat for over stimulated minds.

The entire EP has a focus on layered, story-building textures, providing depth and duality; ‘Hard Times’ could be played as easily through dusty home speakers or as the sun begins to rise at an afterparty. No matter the setting there's a resonating quality to the record, an ineffable sense that magic still exists. ‘Let It Pour Out Of You’ is the cathartic conclusion, while remaining within the lines of what makes the EP so great: unhurried, deep and radiating with personality.
