sergentor Brilliant. There alot of ways and directions one can use the tracks here. Sort of reminds me of a few Underworld tracks from the mid 90's. Though there's enough distinct combos and variations in rhythmic textures and melodic variances going on here that really stands out and sets it apart from other releases from the past few months. Favorite track: Night Shift.

Rising French techno producer Trudge makes his debut appearance on Lobster Theremin with the blistering four-track EP, Self Love Club.

Following releases for ARTS, 1Ø Pills Mate and Of Paradise - as well as his transformation from hazier sounds into full throttle techno - Self Love Club is a defining record for the young artist and an ambitious taster ahead of his debut album, slated for release at the start of the summer.

Opener Ice On My Neck sets the pace of the release combining bone-rattling drums & glacial pads to maximum effect, while title track Self Love Club ramps up the emotion without sacrificing any intensity.

On the flip, Bird Ghost’s ethereal synth lines punctuate a pummelling kick and Night Shift lowers the aggression ending the record on a dreamy, break-lined note.
