Drawing on more left-field tropes while seemingly stitching the elements together as they rattle along, A Slap In The Face Of Public Taste is a statement as much as it is a release.

Sky Remit is the unheralded secret club banger, appearing on mixes and radio alike over the past 6 months, and finally unleashed with it's jittery synth stabs, stomach-pounding durm programming and seriously gnarly out-of-place cowbell.

The title track is easily Manse's most daring to date. A lone, distorted tom steadily detunes itself in the dark until an explosion of hell fire and fury comes in to crush whatever's left of your battered cortex.

The flip sees him channeling Abdulla Rashim-esque dub work, rolling and crackling on seven-plus minutes of machine tinkering.
